What Folks Say About Dogwood Road

Dogwood Road at [Dublin] Irish festival was a ton of fun…They really got the crowd into it. People were clapping and dancing and the music itself was light and happy. You could tell they really enjoyed being up there, interacting with the crowd.

Dogwood Road is the epitome of live music. They bring a smile to my face every time with their jokes and spot on playing and soulful vocals. It is a great way to spend my Friday nights and forget the woes of the week.

I’m a big fan of Irish music and when I stumbled across Dogwood Road I was blown away. Karl’s guitar is driving and masterful, and Tyler absolutely screams on the fiddle; his mandolin playing is pretty great, too. I try to never miss their shows because they’re so much fun, even better with a pint or two!

JR

Dogwood Road is an original Celtic-American duo. They add new takes on old Celtic standards, and create new pieces that sound like they’ve been around forever. Tyler’s vocals are warm, heartfelt, salty, and moving. He sings songs that will touch your heart, move you, and make you get up on your feet! Tyler’s fiddling and Karl’s guitar are exemplary, and their banter is entertaining as well. Don’t miss them!

An Admirer

Year after year, band after band, these two show they have chops, charisma and warmth to entertain any crowd. Genuinely a pleasure every time I share an evening listening to these chaps.
